Impact Reports
HCC’s collaboration with the Marsha P. Johnson Institute over three years resulted in the creation of impactful, visually compelling reports that effectively communicated the institute’s achievements. By leveraging both print and digital formats, HCC ensured that MPJI’s message reached diverse audiences, furthering its mission to support and uplift the Black trans community.
HCC designed two reports specifically for print distribution, ensuring that the content was accessible and visually compelling for physical copies. Each print report was meticulously crafted to highlight MPJI’s impact with engaging layouts, vivid imagery, and clear, concise narratives.
In addition, HCC developed a digital report as an interactive landing page. This digital version allowed for a dynamic presentation of MPJI’s work, incorporating multimedia elements like videos, interactive graphs, and expandable sections. The landing page provided an immersive experience for users, allowing them to explore MPJI’s achievements in a more engaging and accessible format.

MPJI needed a comprehensive way to document and present its achievements, specifically to current and future funders, ncluding various activations, media insights, awards, campaigns, and events. The goal was to create joyful reports that not only captured these significant accomplishments but also resonated with both their print and digital audiences.
The impact reports successfully showcased the critical work of the Marsha P. Johnson Institute, amplifying its voice within the Black trans community and beyond. The reports received positive feedback from stakeholders and community members alike, underscoring MPJI’s role as a leader in advocacy and human rights.
The digital landing page, in particular, proved to be an innovative approach, increasing online engagement and allowing MPJI to reach a broader audience. This approach demonstrated the importance of adapting content to different mediums to maximize impact.
